78′ Lupa of London Takes Line Honors in 2014 RORC Transatlantic Race

Grenada (December 11, 2014) – Lupa of London, the Reichel/Pugh designed 78’ built by Baltic Yachts and owned by Jeremy Pilkington, crossed the finish line of the 2014 inaugural RORC Transatlantic Race, off Grenada at 11:38:55 UTC on Thursday 11th December 2014 with an elapsed time of 11 days, 01 hours, 38 minutes and 55 seconds, winning the International Maxi Association Trophy and setting the record for the 2,995 nautical mile race from Puerto Calero Marina, Lanzarote to Camper & Nicholsons Port Louis Marina, Grenada.

The Reichel/Pugh designed Southern Wind 94 Windfall finished second to Lupa on elapsed time and taking 1st place in the IRC Zero Class.
